Seaside villa decor

June 15, 2011 Home Decor

A seaside villa built in Provence style during the 1970s has been totally rebuilt with a project focussed on the arranging of spaces in the relationship between interior and exterior, on transparency and the fluidity of the living area spaces and visual sequences which minimise the distance to the sea and maximise the space of the rooms.

A private spa created on the basement floor of the villa, involving a radical metamorphosis of the existing spaces to transform them into a single wellness area. One material only – Turkish stone – was used in all the functional areas: sauna, Turkish bath, hydromassage, shower and changing room, and contrasts perfectly the oak wood in the relaxation area, while a skylight captures the natural daylight from outside. via
