Sometimes the construction of a new home seems to drag on forever. Ray and Jo Cockerill finally got to open their boxes of possessions and settle into their home in Geraldton, signalling the end of a building process that had taken more than half a decade. Drawing together French, Moroccan and Chinese influences, the home is built around a central grassed courtyard and a plunge pool. The front of the house is a wide platform, jutting westward towards the ocean, where the couple often sit and enjoy the panoramic views. via
