No wonder that the photographer Adriano Bacchella felt inspired to take these amazing pictures of both the exotic landscape and artistic interior decor composition of this Balearic Island’s house. Fresh looking water body surrounded by impressive stone walls and invitingly looking chaise, lounges is located amidst the lush and authentic local vegetation creating very natural retreat space.
The interior of the home was reconstructed and reorganizes turning the old stables into bedrooms, opening the main living premises and so on. For the reconstruction of the summer house, the owners had help from a family friend and photographer Bruno Minardi.
The project aimed to preserve the organic base from the original house construct: clay and stone walls, cane roof for the terrace space, exposed wooden beams on the interior ceilings and combined it with fresh additions (but still sustained in organic and natural palette) polished concrete floors, beautiful pebbles-mosaic for some of the rooms floor’s, bathtubs and sinks that look seamlessly connected with the construct of the house.
The house artistic composition and thoughtful renovation are a beautiful example of vernacular architecture and design. Throughout the house, vintage and antique furniture pieces and artistic design elements give expressive focal accent points. Whitewash walls and light hues of the furnishing and textures create a luminous environment where the character of the old wooden furniture paces and decoration elements stands out strongly.
Intriguing vintage furniture pieces and lamps from around the word create dynamic tribal style atmosphere and invite and enchant with their undulated shapes and organic presence. The house offers so many intriguing and charming decor details that taking a look around is like a discovery adventure and can give some creative ideas for your home too, enjoy.
